I have been to The Original fix on many occasions rate it as the one of best Food Purveyors in the region. Lunch Menu is simple yet comprehensive, service professional & friendly, food excellent. The specialty is home made ice cream & chocolates to die for. (my mouth waters just thinking about the chocolates). I have travelled the world & to date have not found icecream or chocolates to equal these. I thoroughly recommend to anyone in the Sapphire Coast Region. Robyn S.

In really nasty weather, I didn’t want to wander too far from the motel at which I was staying. Popped across the road and came across the Fix. At first I thought it was all about ice-creams and desserts and then I saw a sign for Soup of the Day. OMG! Ate one serving there, with garlic bread, and took a serving back to the motel with me for later. Really well prepared and a classy menu. Gogo6gogo

My partner and I are very picky about our food and coffee and I am glad to say that The Original Fix did not disappoint. Everything made on premise, including the chocolate and the ice cream which really surprised us. We even watched the owner making some! Yummo! Check it out Alan D

Great selection of delicious looking chocolates to take away. Aqob.

The best chocolates we have ever had and fantastic ice cream too. Open throughout the day and late nights so well worth visiting for dessert after eating out. Very reasonably priced. Great service and all homemade! TD Globe Trotter

“OMG the family and I had ice-creams and the flavours were amazing. Made on site with no artificial stuff. The cherry ice cream was fabulous. The blood orange gelato mixed with chocolate ice cream my son said was like a Jaffa. Then we spotted the chocolates and again made on site it was so hard to choose but you have to have an Irish cream and classic mint, the cherry heart tasted just like the ice cream yum yum, I can’t wait until they get the web site up so we can order chocolates online. Oh and did the kids eyes light up when they saw the massive freckle. This place is great the service is wonderful and relaxed atmosphere after swimming at the beach all day is fantastic. Located right behind Woolies it is defiantly worth the walk down the steps. While we didn’t try the food this time, I did spot and smell a huge serving of lasagne and salad while we were choosing our chocolate go out to a table and it looked home made and smelt divine. We will be back!! Gloria D.

We recently discovered The Original Fix cafe, glad we did as it’s a hidden gem. Coffee is good, strong and hot, with a choice of blends (which they also sell to take home) and a big selection of leaf tea. I love the chocolates (handmade on the premises) – try the Rose & Raspberry or the Pilgrim (port and cranberries in dark couverture chocolate – wonderful! They also make a great Lebanese baklava. The Fix serves breakfast and light meals (gluten free options) and in peak season are open evenings. There’s a nice area outside with tables, chairs and umbrellas – a good place to sit and savour the icecream (also made on the premises and seriously creamy – some are gluten free). The fix is a little hard to find as it’s in a small courtyard of shops between Merimbula Drive and Main Street, but if you look behind the Woolworths supermarket you’ll find it. Taylor P.
